Raechel Wastesicoot is the Indigenous Engagement & Conservation Manager at Nature Conservancy of Canada/Conservation de la nature Canada since July 2015, leading initiatives to develop policies for Indigenous Conservation Engagement and promoting cultural awareness within the organization. Previous roles include Internal Communications & Culture Manager, where Raechel managed Indigenous-related communications, and Digital Content Creator, focusing on website and marketing materials. Raechel's early experience encompasses various communication positions, including at Art Gallery of Ontario and The RMG, complemented by a solid educational background with graduate certificates in Community Engagement and Aboriginal Knowledges and Experiences from Toronto Metropolitan University.
