Simon Owen is an experienced IT Director currently holding positions at both eComplete Group and Naturecan since July 2019. Additionally, Simon operates as a Freelance Front-End Consultant through s10wen.com, a role started in December 2017. As a co-founder of UpFrontConf, Simon has contributed to the front-end development community since January 2015. Simon is also the founder and organiser of McrFRED, a monthly meetup for front-end developers, which is part of the Together with Google Programme. Previous consultancy roles include front-end positions at N Brown Group, morse.ai, and BBC. Simon holds a BA HONS in Graphic Design from Salford University and a BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design from Stockport College.
