Margaret Blackburn is an experienced education manager currently serving at NatureBridge since January 2023, following the role of Executive Director at the Pacific Environmental Education Center from June 2021 to December 2022. Previous positions include serving as a Census Field Supervisor for the U.S. Census Bureau, an Education Technician for the National Park Service, and an Environmental Science Educator at NatureBridge. At Camp Allen, Margaret was an Environmental Educator for the Discovery Program. Early career experiences include volunteering at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center and working as a Marine Science Residential Assistant with Johns Hopkins University. Margaret holds a Master of Education in Environmental Conservation Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from The George Washington University, along with additional studies in Tropical Ecology and Conservation in Costa Rica.
