Marco Lambertini currently serves as Co-Chair of the Science Council for Nature Action 100 and Convener & Secretariat Executive Chair for the Nature Positive Initiative, alongside board membership at the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco. Lambertini has extensive experience in leadership roles including Special Envoy and Director General at WWF, where management included overseeing a large global network and extensive project operations. Additional noteworthy contributions include advisory roles at Friends of Ocean Action WEF and the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development. Lambertini was previously Chief Executive of BirdLife International, leading a significant decentralized secretariat, and has a background in freelance scientific journalism. Education includes a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Università di Pisa.
