Alexander Petersen is an experienced professional in procurement and supply chain management, with a strong focus on biomass procurement. Currently serving as Director of Biomass Procurement at Nature Energy since March 2021, Alexander has held various significant roles, including Head of Biomass Procurement and Category Manager Biomass. Additionally, Alexander is a General Member of the Board at Obton Impact AKK Privat A/S. Previous experience includes consultancy roles at the Danish District Heating Association, and managerial positions at Uni-Tankers A/S, Fjernvarme Fyn A/S, SeaMall, Odense Steel Shipyard Ltd., and Volkswerft Stralsund GmbH. Academically, Alexander holds a Master's Degree in Sales, Distribution, and Marketing Operations from Syddansk Universitet and Bachelor's Degrees in Purchasing & Logistics and Business/Managerial Economics from Odense Business School and Svendborg Handelsskole, respectively.
