Nazanin Zand is a seasoned professional in food science and nutrition, currently serving as the Head of the Food and Market Department at the Natural Resources Institute since February 2022. In addition to this role, Nazanin Zand contributes as an External Examiner at Coventry University and as a member of the Reviewer Board for the Journal of Foods. Since 2018, Nazanin Zand has been an active member of Coeliac UK's Research Awards Panel and has served as a Link Tutor for the European School of Osteopathy since 2016. At the University of Greenwich, Nazanin Zand holds the positions of Programme Leader for MSc Food Innovation and Associate Professor/Science Portfolio Lead for Enterprise. Nazanin Zand also manages quality at Analytical Services Laboratory and has been a fellow at The Institute of Food Science and Technology since 2010. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Greenwich, and a Master of Science in Food Safety & Quality Management from Natural Resources Institute/University of Greenwich, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Food Science & Agricultural Engineering from Azad University.
