Hayley Thompson is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Natural Resources Institute since May 2022, with a comprehensive background in microbiology and research. Previously, Hayley served as a Research Associate at King's College London from January 2019 to May 2022, and at Queen Mary, University of London for a brief period in 2014, as well as a Research Associate at King's College London from May 2010 to July 2013. Hayley's research focuses on cultivating previously uncultivated bacteria from the human oral cavity. Hayley holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Microbiology from King's College London and a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Greenwich. Educational background includes attendance at Rainham Mark Grammar School from 1989 to 1994.
