Riley Perroots started their work experience as an Honors Student Worker at West Virginia University from August 2012 to May 2015. They then worked as an HR and Finance Manager at Mezi.com from May 2016 to January 2018, where they handled various HR and office management tasks, including data analysis, personnel management, and international communications. In January 2018, Mezi.com was acquired by American Express, and Riley Perroots transitioned into the role of Human Resources Office Manager until April 2021. Currently, they are working as a Human Resources Generalist at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) starting in September 2021.

Riley Perroots attended West Virginia University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs.
