Shawn Follum, P.E. is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as the State Conservation Engineer at the Natural Resources Conservation Service since February 2019. Prior to this role, Shawn held a civil engineer position at the Bureau of Land Management from October 2016 to February 2019. Shawn's extensive background includes a 26-year tenure with the US Navy, where roles included Public Works Officer at PWD Little Creek/Fort Story and PWD Kings Bay, as well as serving as Force Engineer and Deputy N4. Shawn Follum holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Utah State University.
