Nafi Chinery is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in natural resource governance, energy transition, and social development. Currently serving as Africa Director at the Natural Resource Governance Institute since July 2017, Nafi has previously held significant roles including Interim Africa Director and Country Program Manager for Development Agenda Solutions, where responsibilities included program development, monitoring, and leadership mentoring. Nafi's experience also includes serving as Capacity Building Programme Specialist at the African Women's Development Fund, focusing on skills training and social justice initiatives, as well as working with Oxfam GB in various capacities, contributing to project quality, capacity building, and participatory programming. Nafi Chinery holds a Masterā€™s degree in Social Development & Sustainable Livelihoods from the University of Reading and a Bachelorā€™s degree in History from the University of Cape Coast.
