Elizabeth Hooks

Director of Merchandising and Product Development - Apparel at Natural Life

Elizabeth Hooks has a long and varied work experience in the fashion industry. Elizabeth began their career in 2006 as a Sales Associate and Freelance Merchandiser at Uncommon Objects. Elizabeth then moved to Anthropologie in 2006 as a Visual Merchandiser, before transitioning to Urban Outfitters in 2009 as a Merchandising Lead. In 2010, they returned to Anthropologie as an Assistant Buyer. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Buying and Merchandising Consultant for Violet Boutique and Rethreaded, Inc. In 2015, they joined Natural Life as a Senior Merchandising Manager. In 2019, they took on the role of Event Manager for Righton Books while attending VCFA. Elizabeth is currently working at Natural Life as the Director of Merchandising and Product Development - Apparel, and is also the Senior Manager of Brand Content, where they collaborate closely with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and Senior Marketing Manager to create strategic marketing campaigns.

Elizabeth Hooks attended Flagler College from 2001 to 2005, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Communication. Elizabeth then attended Savannah College of Art and Design from 2009 to 2010, studying Luxury and Fashion Management. Most recently, they earned their Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2020.
