Kory Kenser has 11 years of work experience in the engineering and welding fields. Kory began their career in 2006 as a Welder at Morton Metal Craft. In 2007, they moved to Jacobs Engineering Group Incorporation, where they worked as a Pipe Welder. From 2010 to 2021, Kory held various roles at Caterpillar Inc., MATCOR Metal Fabrication, and Natural Fiber Welding, including Fabrication Specialist, Welder, and Mechanical Engineer.

Kory Kenser attended Spoon River College from 2013 to 2015, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS in Pre-Engineering. Kory then attended Bradley University from 2016 to 2022, where they are pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
