Augie Diaz has a diverse professional background that includes extensive volunteer work and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a volunteer at Justa Center since November 2019, Augie assists the director and program manager in client check-ins. Since June 2019, Augie has also volunteered with the Read it and Eat it program at NATIVE HEALTH, supporting families in enhancing mental health. Augie is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Care, Health and Society with a minor in Psychology at the University of Arizona, with an expected graduation in May 2021. Prior experience includes founding Vivat Clothing Company, an apparel startup focused on original artwork for t-shirt sales, and operating 2 Guards 4 Life, a private lifeguarding service providing trained personnel for events.
