Ray Yang has extensive experience in IT application development, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Consultant at Nationwide since October 2015, Ray focuses on Guildwire Configuration and Rating for commercial lines. Concurrently, as a Consultant at Harleysville Insurance since April 2013, responsibilities include uploading account and policy information from agency management systems to rating systems. Prior roles at Nationwide Insurance from December 2004 to April 2013 involved leadership in technical projects and serving as a go-to expert for IBM WebSphere Portal. Earlier positions included roles as a Specialist and Senior Developer in IT applications, where Ray contributed to J2EE web applications for insurance. Ray's career began as a Software Engineer at UGS, involved in release management and application development. Ray holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Iowa State University.
