Julie Hespe currently serves as Executive Vice President of Underwriting Performance at Nationwide, a role held since August 2022. Prior to this, Julie held various senior leadership positions at QBE North America from February 2017 to August 2022, including SVP for Core Commercial and Workers Compensation Programs and SVP for Product - Commercial Insurance. Julie also contributed to BlueSkyRisk as Executive Vice President from February 2016 to February 2017, focusing on program development and underwriting insights. Julie's extensive experience at AIG spanned from 2000 to 2015, where roles included Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for Commercial Casualty and Specialty Workers’ Compensation, where strategic growth and operational improvements were key focuses. Julie holds a B.S. in Biology/Biological Sciences from Lafayette College and has completed additional coursework in business and environmental engineering at Case Western Reserve University and Drexel University.
