Jan Prins is an experienced professional in the field of public administration and complaint management, currently serving as Project Leader for the Nationale Ombudsman since April 1995, where responsibility includes supporting local governments in handling citizen complaints. Previous roles include Senior Complaint Handler/Researcher, and positions within various municipalities such as Wethouder for the Gemeente Wateringen, focusing on housing, public health, and social security. Jan Prins also contributed to the EU Twinning Project to bolster the Serbian ombudsman's capacity and has held advisory and policy development roles in legislation and cultural welfare. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Administrative Law from Leiden University and studies at Reinwardt Academy.
