Sasha Senderovich is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington, specializing in the Jackson School of International Studies and Slavic Languages & Literatures since July 2017. Previously, Sasha held positions as an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder and as a Visiting Scholar at Rutgers University. Sasha has extensive experience in teaching and program coordination, including a role as a Visiting Professor for the Great Jewish Books Summer Program at the National Yiddish Book Center since 2014. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from Harvard University and prior studies at institutions such as the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Oxford. Sasha’s research focuses on Russian-Jewish and Soviet Yiddish literature and has involved consulting for the Wikimedia Foundation.
