John Elrod is a seasoned network engineering professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at National Vision Inc. since March 2021, John previously honed skills as a Network Administrator and Support Engineer/Trainer at Comtech Telecommunications Corp. from April 2018 to March 2021. Prior military service with the US Army from February 2012 to May 2018 involved working with advanced satellite communications equipment, cross-training in various communication technologies. Early in the career, John gained experience as a Seal Fabricator at Philips and as a Tutor at Universal Technical Institute, specializing in automotive subjects. John holds multiple credentials from Universal Technical Institute and has completed 43 credits towards a Bachelor's degree in Technical Management at Devry University.
