Alexa Ray Fernando currently holds the position of Senior Research Management and Publication Director and Dean of the College of Engineering at National University in the Philippines, a role maintained since July 2016. Previously, Alexa served as First Vice President of the Philippine Association of Engineering Schools from December 2020 to December 2022 and held various academic positions at Technological Institute of the Philippines, including Graduate Programs Coordinator and CITE ABET Accreditation Coordinator, and Assistant Professor from November 2010 to July 2016. Early professional experience included roles at Sykes Asia as a Global Support Associate and at Go!Foton as a Production Engineer. In terms of education, Alexa is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Education at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Technological Institute of the Philippines.
