Bob Bates has extensive experience in leadership and management roles across multiple companies in the steel and manufacturing industries. Bates served as President of National Tube Supply Co. since November 2018 after holding various leadership positions at Alro Steel Corporation from January 2008 to November 2019, including Regional Vice President and General Manager. Prior experience includes a General Manager role at EMJ from June 1994 to January 2008, where responsibilities included staff management, overseeing sales, and improving plant operations. Bates also managed plant operations in Kansas City, ensuring effective supervision of personnel and logistics. Earlier in the career, Bates was involved in sales and operations management at Kilsby-Roberts and Vincent Brass and Aluminum.
