Chris Ekai is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in leading risk assessment and compliance initiatives across various sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Risk Management at the National Social Security Fund (NSSF Kenya) since March 2024, Chris is responsible for developing risk management tools and policies. Previously, Chris held key positions at KenGen Kenya as both Principal Risk Analyst and Senior Business Risk Analyst, focusing on risk policy coordination and enterprise risk management. Experience also includes roles at Kenya Revenue Authority, Kenya Power, and the Central Bank of Kenya, where responsibilities encompassed the implementation of risk frameworks and compliance assessments. Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Risk Management from the University of Portsmouth and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Nairobi.
