Joy Bianchi, PhD, currently serves as the Scientific Career Management and Culture & Belonging Officer at Institut Pasteur since February 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Science Diplomacy Fellow with the National Science Policy Network, where collaboration with EURAXESS North America focused on French scientific diaspora networks in the US. As a co-founder and Chair of the Science Diplomacy Committee at NYU Langone Health, Bianchi played a crucial role in establishing the institution's first Science Policy, Diplomacy & Communication group. Additional posts include various postdoctoral positions, a successful internship at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and involvement in student representation and science communication initiatives throughout academic and early career stages. Bianchi earned a PhD in Genetics from Université Paris Cité and possesses a strong background in scientific advocacy and community engagement.
