Angel L. is an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with a career spanning over a decade in various educational settings. Currently serving at the National School District since July 2015, Angel addresses the needs of preschool through 8th-grade students in a culturally diverse environment, managing a caseload of over 50 and acting as case manager for approximately 33% of students. Previous roles include work at La Mesa / Spring Valley School District and Los Angeles Unified School District, where Angel supported special education services for a significant number of students. Prior to these positions, Angel gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Research Assistant across multiple projects focused on language development and cognitive studies at institutions such as UC San Diego. Angel holds a Master’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from San Diego State University and dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Japanese Studies, along with a minor in Linguistics from UC San Diego.
