Ahmed Zoheir is a seasoned researcher in bioengineering and engineered living materials, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the National Research Centre (NRC) since December 2008. Ahmed has held roles such as Associate Researcher and Research Assistant at Proteinea since October 2022, and previously worked as a Senior Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from April 2016 to October 2021. Additionally, Ahmed co-founded Catavis in May 2020 and was the Founder and Director of CLOUDS FineArt from 2019 until October 2021. Ahmed's academic credentials include a PhD in Biology and Bioengineering from KIT, a Master's degree in Microbial Genetics from Helwan University Cairo, and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Al-Azhar University.
