Ryan Cryar is a cybersecurity researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since June 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Jr. Software Engineer at Briq and as a Simulation and Tools Specialist at Global Formula Racing, where key contributions involved developing a physics engine for autonomous racecar simulations. Ryan's background also encompasses work as a Software Engineer at Oregon State University Graduate School, focusing on software development and management of Salesforce platforms, alongside experience as a Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Researcher at Oregon State University, specializing in bioinformatics and machine learning. Ryan holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science with a security focus from Oregon State University, completed in 2020.
