Bailey Pons is a Wind Energy Workforce Development Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since April 2023, previously serving as an Undergraduate Policy Intern at the North Carolina Collaboratory, where support was provided for research and policy development. Experience includes leadership roles in the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, where Bailey organized recruitment and managed communication strategies as Vice President of Marketing and served as Membership Experience Vice President. Additional internships include renewable energy work at Madison Energy Investments, communications development at the International Center for Religion & Diplomacy, and a nonprofit leadership internship with The Borgen Project. Bailey holds an undergraduate degree in International/Global Studies and Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed in 2023.
