Abhineet Gupta is a Senior Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since October 2022, specializing in aerospace engineering. Previously, Abhineet held multiple roles at The University of Texas at Dallas from July 2019 to October 2022, including Research Scientist, Lecturer, and Postdoctoral Research Associate. Prior to that, Abhineet was a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota from September 2014 to June 2019 and completed a Research Internship at Aeronautical Development Establishment in 2010. Abhineet earned a PhD in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Minnesota (2013-2019) and a Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (2007-2012). The research focus includes slender body aerodynamics and canard-tail interactions.
