Garrett Yursza Warfield, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Research and Impact Officer at the National Recreation and Park Association since October 2024. As an Independent Consultant since April 2010, Garrett Yursza Warfield has provided research and management consulting services. From September 2014 to October 2024, Garrett Yursza Warfield held the position of Chief Research Officer at Year Up United, where efforts focused on empowering young adults through research and evaluation practices. Previous roles include Senior Director of Research & Evaluation and Director of Program Evaluation at The Boston Foundation, along with adjunct faculty positions at UMass Boston and Northeastern University. Garrett Yursza Warfield's early career included research roles at Middlesex University and the Department of Veterans Affairs, with foundational research experience at Boston University. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Criminology and Justice Policy from Northeastern University, an MSc in Criminology with Forensic Psychology from Middlesex University, and a BA in Psychology and Statistical Methods from Boston University.
