Ofelia Hinojosa currently serves as an ELL Assistant at IPSD204 since March 2019, overseeing IDEA benefits for eligible students and supporting individual education programs. In addition, Ofelia is the President of the May Watts PTA Board since July 2021 and serves as the Family and Community Engagement Director for the IL State PTA since September 2020, focusing on transformative family engagement initiatives. Previously, Ofelia was the Treasurer for the Hill PTSA from July 2018 to July 2020, managing budget control and compliance with financial regulations. Ofelia's extensive background also includes roles as a Project Manager at SEICOH International Sealing, and positions at American Express Company as a Senior Planner and Senior Auditor, as well as serving as an Auditor at Ruiz Urquiza & Cia. Ofelia holds a Master's in Business Administration and a Bachelor's in Accounting from Universidad La Salle, along with various certificates in CPR/AED and ESL.
