Betsy Brantner Smith is an accomplished law enforcement professional and owner of Dave Smith & Associates, now known as The Winning Mind LLC, since July 1999, specializing in training and consulting for law enforcement and corporate sectors with a focus on officer safety and leadership. As the National Spokesman for the National Police Association since July 2020, Betsy has made significant contributions to the field through various roles, including columnist and video talent at Praetorian Group, co-hosting for AMERICA OUT LOUD NETWORK, and serving as a contributor to Law Officer Magazine and Police Link. Betsy's extensive background also includes a distinguished career as a Police Sergeant with the City of Naperville, where a diverse range of roles was held before retirement in 2009. Betsy holds a degree in Law Enforcement Administration from Western Illinois University.
