Olympia Karadima, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of biomedical engineering and medical device development, currently serving as a Business Development Manager at the National Physical Laboratory since January 2024. Previously, Olympia held the role of Senior Physicist at Cambridge Consultants from November 2021 to December 2023 and was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at King's College London from 2018 to November 2021, with a focus on electromagnetic imaging for medical devices. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from King's College London, an MS in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Newcastle University, and an MEng in Informatics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Western Macedonia. Additionally, Olympia has contributed to research at various organizations, including Keysight Technologies and Insel Gruppe, and has been involved in initiatives aimed at bridging the gender gap in technology through coding education workshops.
