Ailia Ashworth has extensive experience in network management, currently serving as the Network Manager at the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) in Southampton since 1993, where responsibilities include managing a diverse range of technologies such as Extreme Networks switches and Palo Alto, among others. Previously, Ailia held the position of Network Support Analyst (Wired) at NOC, focusing on the management of the wired network. Ailia also contributed to the educational community as a Parent Governor at Titchfield Primary School from November 2012 to January 2023, serving on the Finance and Resource committee and as the IT Governor. Ailia’s early career included a role as an Assistant Librarian at the Southampton Oceanography Centre from 1989 to 1993. Ailia graduated with a BLib Joint Honours degree in Librarianship and Geography from Aberystwyth University in 1989.
