Stephen Maurano is a seasoned Natural Resource Management Specialist at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration since April 2019, where additional responsibilities include serving as Acting Branch Chief. Prior experience includes significant roles at the US Environmental Protection Agency as a Life Scientist from April 2011 to March 2019, and as a Technician for the City of Saratoga, CA. Stephen's career also features international experience as an Agricultural Extension Agent for the Peace Corps, along with various positions at Santa Clara University, including Field Technician and Research Assistant. Stephen holds an M.S. in Ecology from the Odum School of Ecology and a B.S. in Biology and Environmental Science from Santa Clara University.
