Caitlin Cameron

Senior Technician: Consultation Biologist (oai Contractor) at NOAA

Caitlin Cameron is a highly experienced consultation biologist currently serving as a Senior Technician at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration since October 2015. In this role, Caitlin advises federal agencies on the Endangered Species Act, focusing on producing essential documents such as Biological Opinions and Letters of Concurrence to protect vulnerable species and their habitats. Prior to this position, Caitlin worked as a Research Technician at the University of Miami from May 2011 to November 2014, engaging in coral ecology research. Caitlin also has experience as a Graduate and Teaching Assistant at California State University, Northridge, where responsibilities included conducting experiments and teaching biology labs. Earlier, Caitlin served as a Lab Technician at Sea and Reef Aquaculture, contributing to marine ornamental fish research. Caitlin holds a Master of Science in Biology (Marine Biology) from California State University, Northridge and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from the University of Maine.
