Avanish Chandan is a Senior Scientist at the National Metallurgical Laboratory, with a focus on Physical Metallurgy of Steels and New Materials. Since September 2017, Avanish has actively conducted research on Advanced High Strength Steels and High Entropy Alloys, emphasizing the understanding of deformation-induced microstructure evolution in various steel types, including TRIP Steels, TWIP Steels, and Medium Mn Steels. Prior experience includes serving as a Trainee Scientist at the same institution from August 2014 to August 2016. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MTech in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research, as well as a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from B.I.T. Sindri. Educational foundations were laid at Agrasen DAV Public School and DAV Kapildev Public School.
