Kent W. Wommack is an accomplished executive and conservation leader currently serving as the Executive Director and Chief Program Officer of the Liz Claiborne and Art Ortenberg Foundation in New York City since September 2016. With extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, Wommack has held significant roles at The Nature Conservancy from 1991 to 2016, including Senior Strategist and Managing Director of the Global Lands Team, in addition to directing initiatives across various regions, such as Canada and the Asia Pacific. Wommack has also contributed to the Elmina B. Sewall Foundation from 2006 to 2022 and serves as a Board Member at the National Lime and Stone Company. Educational credentials include a Master of Forest Science from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Colby College.
