Dr. Tsafra Siew is a seasoned professional in the fields of cultural heritage, digital humanities, and database management. Since April 2014, Dr. Siew has served as the Manager of Research Oriented Projects at the National Library of Israel, leading initiatives focused on digitization, accessibility, and the application of data pertaining to Hebrew manuscripts, archaeology, and the geography of Jerusalem. Prior to this role, Dr. Siew was a Database Designer and Manager at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where an interdisciplinary database for academic research was developed. Additional experience includes administrative management at Tel Aviv University’s Nanotechnology Laboratory and cataloguing Jewish press materials at the Bronfman Center. Dr. Siew’s academic credentials include a PhD in European Studies, an MA in Religions' Sciences, and dual bachelor's degrees in Art History and Italian Literature, along with Computer Science.
