Luise Stone is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Senior Program Associate at the National Legal Aid & Defender Association since May 2022. Previously, Luise worked as a Senior Advisor for Lynne T. Ingram for Judge from October 2021 to August 2022 and as a Bilingual Victim Advocate at the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands from August 2019 to May 2022. Earlier roles include serving as a Special Assistant at Deutscher Bundestag and as Refugee Program Manager at Refugee Camp Berlin. Luise holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Human Rights & Humanitarian Law from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in German Law from the University of Potsdam, complemented by additional legal education from HarvardX and Equal Justice University.
