Koji Oshima, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Koji is currently an Associate Director of Innovation Design Initiative at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology in Japan, where they contribute to the progress of management and R&D policies. Previously, they worked at Kozo Keikaku Engineering, Inc. as an Engineering Consultant and later as the Manager of the Corporate Planning Team, handling tasks such as analyzing and reporting the performance of business units, rebuilding the evaluation system, and planning and operating business meetings. Before that, they worked in the Finance Department at the same company. Early in their career, they were a Corporate Planning Analyst and a Research and Development professional at Kozo Keikaku Engineering, Inc., and also served as a Researcher at ATR, where they worked on research and development of cognitive radio technology and supported project management. Koji'sskills include verification and validation of wireless communication systems and knowledge of autonomously distributed wireless communication systems.
Koji Oshima, Ph.D. completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Planetary Electromagnetism from Kyoto University, where they attended from 1999 to 2005. Following this, they pursued their doctoral studies in Electrical Engineering at Tokyo University of Science, earning their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in 2021.
