Iesha McGruder currently serves as a Biological Science Specialist at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture since July 2023. Prior to this role, Iesha worked as a Soil Conservationist at the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service from May 2020 to July 2023. Iesha gained early experience as an Academic Tutor with AmeriCorps from August 2018 to May 2019 and completed a Management Trainee position at Tyson Foods from June 2017 to April 2018, having initially interned with the same company in June 2016. Iesha holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Alcorn State University, where studies were completed from August 2019 to December 2021 and August 2013 to May 2017, respectively.
