Erol Harvey is a highly experienced professional in the fields of technology, research, and medical innovation, currently serving as a Fellow at the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering since 2005. Erol holds key leadership roles including Member of the Governing Board at the National Imaging Facility and Director at STC Australia, where efforts focus on fostering entrepreneurship in emerging technologies. As Chief Executive Officer of the ACMD Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery, Erol drives initiatives to translate biomedical research into practical medical solutions. In addition, Erol has contributed to the Bionics Institute as Head of Development and Research Translation and serves as a Strategic Advisor. Erol's extensive background includes co-founding MiniFAB and holding roles at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Advanced Molecular Imaging and MANCEF. Erol earned a BSc (Hon) and PhD in Physics from Monash University.
