Nataly Lopez

National History Day Researcher at National History Day

Nataly Lopez is a dedicated individual with a strong background in research, education, and community service. Currently serving as a Scholar Peer Committee Member for the Angels Baseball Foundation with the Los Angeles Angels, Lopez was previously selected as a Korean Language Exchange Student by the United States Department of State, providing a unique cultural experience in South Korea. Notable experience includes working as an INsite UCI Research Intern focused on digital accessibility under Professor Stacy Branham, earning multiple accolades in the National History Day competition, founding the Honey Kid Photography Program to teach photography basics, and participating as a Bank of America Student Leader. Lopez has also contributed to policy recommendations as a California Rapid Response Youth Leader with Mikva Challenge. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science at the University of California, Berkeley, Lopez also holds an Associate's degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Santa Ana College, alongside a High School Diploma from Samueli Academy.
