Member, Women In Health Science Committee at National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC)

Viet Tran is a prominent figure in Emergency Medicine, currently serving as the Foundational Director at the Tasmanian Emergency Medicine Research Institute since January 2020. In addition to this role, Viet Tran is a Board Member at the Postgraduate Medical Education Council of Tasmania and Co-Chair of the Tasmanian Health Senate, providing strategic leadership and advisory support in healthcare planning. Viet Tran holds multiple positions in emergency medicine, including Deputy Director at Royal Hobart Hospital, Chair of the Tasmanian Emergency Departments Network, and an Executive Member of the Tasmanian Collaboration for Health Improvement.
