John Scoccola serves as the Director of Global Engineering at National Grid since January 2023, overseeing Capex and Opex responsibilities for a global energy business and developing a professional team for business and technology solutions. Prior to this role, John Scoccola was Sr. Manager of Global Engineering at Verizon Enterprise Solutions from February 2010 to January 2023, where empowerment of people was a key focus. Additionally, John Scoccola served on the Board of Directors of Atlantic Stewardship Bank from May 2014 until December 2020. Earlier experience includes roles as Business Development Director at Worldwide Supply and various engineering and managerial positions at Verizon Business spanning from April 1984 to November 2008. John Scoccola holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
