Gary Parker, GISP, is a seasoned Geographic Information Systems Engineer at the National Geographic Society since March 2022, specializing in managing multiple projects related to GIS and Asset Management software. Prior to this role, Gary served as Director of Cloud Operations and System Administrator/Spatial DBA at NewEdge Services, LLC from May 2015 to March 2022, overseeing various projects and hosted services. Previously, Gary worked as a GIS Specialist at NTB Associates, Inc. and held positions as a Research Assistant at the University of North Texas and a GIS Technician intern at Halff Associates. Gary holds a Master of Science in Geography from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Hertfordshire.
