Joel Giamalva is a skilled communications professional with experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at the National Futures Association since May 2021, Joel previously held the position of Communications Associate at the same organization. Prior experience includes internships with the Champaign County Elections, the U.S. House of Representatives under Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, and the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District focused on communicable diseases. Joel also worked at the Disability Resources and Educational Services at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and interned for State Representative Jack Franks. Joel holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and Political Science and Government from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 2020.
