Dana Nation is an experienced professional in emergency management and public safety, currently serving as the Training Manager for the City of Montgomery since August 2023. Dana has extensive experience within the Pike Road Fire Department, holding roles as a Lieutenant and Firefighter/Paramedic since February 2012, and also acts as an instructor, public information officer, and event coordinator. Additionally, Dana coordinates the Alabama Remembers 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, a significant annual fundraising event. As a Field Operations Paramedic with Haynes Ambulance of Alabama, Inc. since August 1998, Dana contributes through instruction and public relations. Previously held positions include Program Coordinator and Administrative Assistant for the Alabama 9-1-1 Board, focusing on enhancing 9-1-1 services across the state from August 2017 to April 2023. Dana holds a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University and a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology from H Councill Trenholm State Technical College.
