Michael Iserman serves as the Director of Certification at the National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA) since October 2012, where oversight of certification and exam development for NCCA-accredited programs is a primary responsibility. Previous roles include Past-President and President of the Minnesota Distance Running Association (MDRA), and Director of Personal Training at the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, where management of personal training services across 22 branches was crucial. Iserman has also consulted for SPRI Products, contributed to the American Council on Exercise’s Industry Advisory Panel, and has a background in corporate fitness and clinical exercise physiology. Michael Iserman holds a Master of Education in Applied Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota, along with several continuing education certifications from the Institute for Credentialing Excellence.
