Michael Story has extensive experience in public health, preventive medicine, and manuscript reviewing. Currently serving as a Peer Manuscript Reviewer for the National Environmental Health Association and a Manuscript Reviewer for Global Health: Science and Practice, Michael contributes to the evaluation of manuscripts aimed at improving health practices, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Michael's military background includes leadership roles such as Medical Director/Detachment Commander for the 71st Medical Detachment and various positions within the US Army Dental Corps, where responsibilities encompassed strategic planning, health care support, and training operations. Additionally, Michael has held academic positions, serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at Texas A&M University, and has provided consulting services in public health for special operations. Michael holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Public Health from New York Medical College and an MBA in Healthcare from The George Washington University School of Business.
