William Ellis has a diverse range of work experience starting in 1990 at Duquesne Light Company as a Project Engineer and later Director of Technical Services. William then moved to Reliant Energy as a Production Supervisor before transitioning to National Energy Technology Laboratory in 2003 as a Principal Engineer (Contractor) focusing on cost share repayment monitoring. Ellis has a strong background in project management, engineering, and technical supervision.
William Ellis graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Later, in 2002, they earned a Masters in Business Administration from Waynesburg University. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Unconscious Bias and Business Ethics from LinkedIn in 2021.
